Holi is a spring festival celebrated in India. It is also called the festival of colours. During the celebrations, people gather with their friends and family and play with water and coloured powder (gulal). They visit each other's houses to dance, sing and eat sweets. It is a fun filled festival that marks the arrival of spring and end of winter.
We then splashed some water colours on a sheet and blew them out with a straw.
We ended by adding the words 'Holi Hai!'
